New service in Pro-Service mobile repair service chain

Pro-Service Ltd, the largest service center chain in Russia and CIS, have launched new service of customers data transfer and backup for mobile devices, coming to the service centers for repair. The service will address the demand of those customers which leave their handset in the service center and receive replacement mobiles for the temporary usage. New service will solve a lot of difficulties such as preliminary backup of contacts, SMS, pictures, images and audio files at home, data restore to the replacement equipment and restore to the repaired handset, data erase on the replacement equipment. It is not a big surprise that data migration between mobiles of different vendors via PC suites is often impossible or takes a lot of time. With new service, customer won’t bother about wasting time and possibility of phonebook/valuable files migration from his/her Samsung or Motorola to the replaced Nokia or HTC. On the return of the replacement equipment, in a few minutes Pro-Service will copy customer’s data back to the repaired handset and delete data from the temporarily used mobiles in front of the customer. Additionally, phonebook and SMS can be sent to the customer by e-mail, printed or saved to memory card or USB disk.

Obviously, new service brings a variety of advantages to the business processes in Pro-Service. Earlier, Pro-Service employees have to spend considerable time and efforts on saving data to the replacement equipment: connecting handset to PC, deploying special mobile vendors software, providing replacement equipment of the same vendor in order to support correct transfer of saved data to the replacement mobiles. With UME-36PRO, data transferring time decreases from hours to several minutes while range for replacement equipment extends to virtually any model.

UME-36PRO based service was approved by major handset vendors. They proved that data transferring service provides no effect on warranty conditions for repaired phones. Pro-service customers may get the service in 49 cities of Russia from Kaliningrad on the West to Khabarovsk on the East. UME-36PRO devices were provided to Pro-Service by ESTER Solutions, the distributor of Cellebrite products in Russia since 2006.

Also, Pro-Service has Maintenance Department for another business - maintenance of cash registers, bank and office equipment. Department provides services in sales, installation and technical support through representation offices in 37 cities of Russia. As of today, Pro-Service serves more than 15.000 units, including vending machines. Pro-Service is authorized to maintain equipment of:

- Cash registers: Prim, Shtrih, Mercury, AMC, Orion;

- Banking equipment: Magner, Assistant, DORS, Laurel,Glory, De La Rue, PRO;

- Vending machines: OSMP, Unicum, Iskra;

In the annual contest "100 best products of Russia", Pro-Service was honored a Diploma in the nomination "Cellular and digital equipment repair" and Gold badge of the winner in the nomination "Cash register, banking and office equipment repair".
